Philly Steak Cheese Fries

Ingredients

1 pound frozen French fries
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 small onion, thinly sliced
8 ounces thinly sliced steak (such as ribeye or sirloin)
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)
1/4 cup sliced green onions (optional)
Ranch dressing or sour cream for dipping (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the French fries package. Arrange the frozen French fries on a baking sheet and bake them according to package instructions until they’re golden and crispy.
While the fries are baking, heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced green bell pepper and onion, and sauté until they’re softened and slightly caramelized, about 5-7 minutes. Remove them from the skillet and set them aside.
In the same skillet, add the thinly sliced steak. Season it with salt and pepper to taste, and cook until it’s browned and cooked through, about 3-5 minutes. Remove the steak from the skillet and set it aside.
Once the fries are done baking, remove them from the oven and transfer them to a large oven-safe serving dish or skillet.
Top the fries with the sautéed bell pepper, onion, and cooked steak. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella, cheddar, and grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Once done, remove from the oven and garnish with chopped fresh parsley and sliced green onions if desired.
Serve hot with ranch dressing or sour cream for dipping, if desired.
Enjoy the indulgent flavors of Philly Steak Cheese Fries as a delicious appetizer or main dish!
